Our BREATHE Conversations Call features a 90-minute in-depth conversation with Adam Young. Adam Young is a therapist who focuses on trauma and abuse, and the host of The Place We Find Ourselves podcast. Adam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's degree in Social Work (Virginia Commonwealth University) and Divinity (Emory University). Adam is certified in EMDR and serves as an Allender Center Fellow. He lives in Fort Collins, CO, where he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and soccer. Adam expertly and compassionately deepens our understanding of how our nervous systems are designed and how to respond to big emotions, both within ourselves and in our children. He talks to us about how our design is connected to the need for kindness and helps us with practices to strengthen our relationships with ourselves and our children.
