Thirty years ago, Jerry Sittser’s world was rocked by catastrophic, irreversible loss. In one day, the unthinkable and unimaginable happened – he lost his wife, mother, and one of his daughters in a tragic car accident, leaving him to raise three children on his own.
Reflecting on life 30 years later, he recently released a new 25th anniversary edition of, “A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows Through Loss,” where he shares profound insights on how grief, loss, and suffering not only forever alters us, but has the potential to enlarge our capacity and our souls.
