Adolescence and young adulthood are developmentally hard enough to navigate without the presence of mental illness; those facing the challenge of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, schizophrenia or suicidal thoughts need extra support. In this video, Kay interviews Dan Adams from Sources of Strength and discusses a proven model to help students identify their sources of strength and develop resilience. They focus on ways to build connections with peers and caring adults with the ultimate goal of preventing bullying, substance misuse, and youth suicide.
