"Beauty Will Rise"

Music has been a powerful source of comfort to me these past six months. So many artists move me: Meredith Andrews, Kari Jobe, Tenth Avenue North, Rick Muchow, Laura Story, Kim Hill, Christy Nockels, Bebo Norman, Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, JJ Heller, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redmond, Hillsong United, Brooklyn Tabernacle, Josh Wilson, Twila Paris, 33 Miles, Darlene Zschech - too many to name.

One CD has become #1 in my playlist: Steven Curtis Chapman's, Beauty Will Rise. He wrote it after the death of his little daughter, and every single song is raw, thick with emotion, pain, and the reality of loss - BUT every song also points to the hope of Heaven, the purposes of God, and the belief that life here on this planet still has meaning. I've never heard music like it before, and it is for anyone who has experienced loss of any kind. Rich, beautiful, moving, passionate, simple, powerful, poignant, comforting, hopeful, and beautiful. Buy it for yourself or for a hurting friend. I love it...
